Noles Kitchen uses fresh, organic ingredients to create authentic comfort food…with a twist. A one-woman business, Noelia’s mission is to satisfy the world’s ever-changing cravings using a variety of rich and savory fillings, creating a unique take on the classic empanada.

Food Truck Design

Process
Emphasizing authenticity and the personal touch of the cook was important. When I initially created NK’s branding, we opted for a neutral palette full of earth tones ranging from beige to dark brown. We felt this take better suited her current branding paired with a serif logo (pictured below).

When working in Adobe Illustrator, I saw potential to create illustrations based off a particular script font. Once I was satisfied with the appearance of the “NK”, I created a range of doodles, establishing a font and color palette befitting of its new playful nature.

The new NK encompasses her experimentation with food and spices, referencing her character and passion for cooking. Noelia provided high-quality images to work with which I then edited using Adobe Bridge & Photoshop. Combining that with her newly established look created a design with depth and intrigue.

Results
A bold and playful rebrand consisting of an 8.5x11 menu, 4.25x11 dessert menu, table tents, ad campaign, social assets, sticker, and food truck design. This rebrand consists of all the necessary ingredients for a successful startup.
