Apex Painting LLC is a start-up painting and remodeling company which focuses on residential and commercial work. Their name “Apex”, meaning the highest point of something, is meant to embody the utmost care they place into every project.

Process & Results
After the grueling work that was the evo™ brand, I felt confident in my abilities to take on professional work. The final logo incorporates the natural letterforms of the company name to create a summit with a setting sun. The “A” creates the mountain, embodying their company philosophy of being the best in their business by priding themselves in everything they do. Bold in color to signify their bold way of designing, taking on every project with a daring approach. The client was torn between two variations (pictured below) which we decided to combine to create the wordmark, appearing differently when not presented with the brandmark (pictured above).
